| Acolyte to Protector |
Consistent activity, by competing in Clan or DB-wide competitions, such as the ICTE, or the various daily comps in DB channels.OR You can achieve this rank by passing any 5 advanced Shadow Academy courses that were not covered by the previous ranks. It is strongly recommended that the Leadership course be one of the five. |
| Protector to Guardian |
Maintain an active presence in the Clan channel, supplemented by increasing participation in Clan and DB-wide competitions; Tarentum is a force to be reckoned with, and everyone, from newest Apprentice to Consul, must work to ensure that we remain so. |
| Guardian to Jedi Hunter |
Typically, this is to be decided by the Guardian's master, if that member has one. The Master-Apprentice program is one of the best resources we have for training, and holding onto new recruits. Tasks set forth by the master might be writing assignments, weekly games, or any other activity that the master believes would benefit the student. Progress is to be shown, and may even be tested by House or Clan Summits, if they wish to help oversee the strengthening of our recruits |
| Jedi Hunter to Dark Jedi Knight |
This sacred advancement comes through the process of the Trials of Knighthood. Three tests are set forth, one by the member's Quaestor and/or Aedile, a second set forth by the Clan Summit, and the final test set forth by the member's master (or specially delegated Summit, should the member be under no master). The Trials may be crafted of any engagements or assignments, but they will typically include the crafting of one's light saber, tests of strength and/or endurance, as well as tests of loyalty and dedication. In times of Wars and Vendettas, when members have proven themselves in battle, up to two of the tests may be foregone, but the member will always craft their own light saber. Whether through fiction, graphics, or both, this step in the process is vital, and is a tradition that cannot be foregone. |
| Dark Jedi Knight and Above |
At this point, a member has now gained true status and prestige within the Clan, and only further merit will decide when fate bestows upon them further rank and glory. It is suggested that continued activity, dedication, and unswerving loyalty to the Clan will help advance members, but each member must find their own path. As you give unto Tarentum, so shall Tarentum return your honor, Within Tarentum, no ranks are reserved for specific positions; as long as you continue to maintain yourself in attendance and fun, you'll progress as far as the DB has to offer. |
